Barncliffe Dairy, located in Shelley, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, is renowned for its artisanal Barncliffe Brie. Utilising milk from a nearby herd of Meuse-Rhine-Issel cattle, Barncliffe Dairy produces its signature Brie using traditional methods, ensuring rich, high-quality cheese with a distinctive flavour​. 

Barncliffe Brie has garnered acclaim, winning a Gold Award at the 2010 World Cheese Awards and a Silver at the 2011 British Cheese Awards. The dairy also produces Barncliffe Blue, a unique cheese with a blue Stilton-style streak. Both cheeses are crafted with pasteurised milk and have become popular in farm shops, delis, and restaurants across Yorkshire and beyond​.
